In real estate and construction, Mr. Zheng served as legal counsel to a state-owned property development company in Hangzhou, providing one-stop legal services from project approval to property sales. He regularly handles construction-related matters and once facilitated a settlement of over RMB 70 million in construction payments between a construction company and a central state-owned enterprise.
In liquidation and restructuring, since 2015 he has provided liquidation and restructuring services for more than one hundred industrial, construction, real estate and e-commerce enterprises. One of his bankruptcy-to-restructuring cases was published as a model case in the Zhejiang High People's Court's special issue on optimizing the business environment (Issue 2, 2020), and two of his small-and-micro enterprise cases were selected as outstanding cases by the Hangzhou Bankruptcy Administrators Association.
In foreign-related practice, he has handled cross-border bankruptcy, foreign-related marriage and inheritance, criminal matters of Chinese nationals abroad, maritime law, shipping, international trade, international distribution and dealership, M&A, equity disputes, outbound investment, and lawyer witnessing, among other matters.
